Joseph Tartakovsky
Joseph Tartakovsky is a San Francisco–based attorney at Eimer Stahl who represents clients in white‑collar criminal defense, government investigations, enforcement actions, and complex civil litigation. He previously served as a federal prosecutor in the Northern District of California and as Deputy Solicitor General of Nevada, where he argued and briefed significant constitutional and regulatory cases, including matters that reached the U.S. Supreme Court. He is the author of two books on constitutional law and homelessness and has published commentary in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and Los Angeles Times.
